Am 19.08.1790 erhob Kurfürst Carl Theodor, Herzog von Bayern, die drei Brüder Maria Joseph Johann, Ludwig und Gottlieb im Reichsvikariate des Heiligen Römischen Reiches Deutscher Nation per Grafen-Diplom in den Reichsgrafenstand . Die Übernahme in die bayerische Adelsmatrikel erfolgte am 22.05.1813 auf Anordnung des bayerischen Königs Maximilian Emanuel.
